This is an elegant and pleasant casino. Lively atmosphere, friendly personnel and management. There is a snack bar in the main gaming area and a big-screen TV lounge. The restaurant is in the upper floor next to the card room. In the main gaming floor there are 20 table games, 200 slot/video machines and 1 x 8-terminal touchbet roulette. There is also a small private gaming area with 3 table games. Tipping is not allowed in Swedish casinos. There are package deals usually include a meal + free entry. If you plan to eat there then call the casino beforehand and request a package deal. Great food and excellent service. There is currency exchange facility and they will exchange it back at the same rate.

General: Casino Cosmopol has opened four international casinos in Sweden. Casino Cosmopol is a subsidiary to Svenska Spel, the largest gaming company in Sweden. Svenska Spel is wholly owned by the Swedish State. Casino Cosmopol offers gaming in conjunction with food and other activities to best meet the expectations of most of its customers.
Currency: Indecision over the country's role in the political and economic integration of Europe delayed Sweden's entry into the EU until 1995, and waived the introduction of the euro in 1999 and kept the Swedish krona. [Jun 2008 currency last update]
Casino entry requirements: Guests must be 20 years of age and carry an official photo ID card, passport or driving licence. Foreign guests must carry a passport. To meet the casino's security requirements, they are obliged to register each visitor and keep a record of personal details and photographs.
Restrictions: Mobile phones must be switched off inside the casino. All photography is strictly prohibited. Cameras and bags must be deposited at the cloakroom.
Extreme weather conditions: Sweden, and in particular the north of the country, does get affected by severe cold weather during the winter months and temperatures can be extremely low. If you visit in winter you should be prepared for these harsh conditions.
Road Travel: If you are travelling by car you should note that driving conditions during the winter months of November to March can be extremely treacherous due to snow and ice.
